Prime 1.7# polyethylene roll stock is the most popular grade for sports flooring. Prime Underlayment is intended to provide increased shock absorbency and cushion while serving its fundamental purpose as a vapor barrier. This grade includes a finer cell structure than the ECO.

Product Specifications

Tensile Strength is 35 psi, with a 11lb./in. Tear Resistance. 
R Value = 2.4 – 2.9

Sports Prime 2.2#

Prime, 2.2# polyethylene roll stock is the highest grade used in the industry, and offers the greatest quality cushioning. Prime Underlayment is intended to provide increased shock absorbancy and cushion while serving its fundamental purpose as a vapor barrier. 

Product Specifications

Tensile strength is 40 psi, with a 13 lb./in. Tear Resistance. 
R value = 2.4 – 2.95
